Hi beautiful! I hope you are having an amazing summer. It’s that time of year again, The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 is right around the corner! Personally I am shopping for some Fall/Winter staples for myself and the family. I love shopping the boots and winter items and if I find some good deals on some fave brands I may snag a few. I am not one to go crazy over this sale and spend loads of money but I do think it’s a great opportunity to get quality items that are new for the season at a discount. I will make sure to cover my essentials, things I love and what I am shopping for you. I will be going in store this year with my best friend to try on some pieces. She is shopping for workwear which is an awesome thing to shop for in this sale if you are in the market. I really love a good affordable find but mixing in a couple quality pieces that will last can be so worth it if you plan on wearing them a lot.
Just a reminder I will be sharing a variety of things from this sale to help guide you in items that are worth snagging at a discount. I will put outfits together to inspire you, I love to give you options in case you happen to be looking for your new fave fall booties or that perfect leather jacket that actually fits busty gals or women with thick arms like me. I love being a resource for you so that you can pick up a few key pieces that will be worth it and worn on repeat. In the past, i’ve picked up items that I have worn season after season. Below you’ll find all my tips and tricks for how to shop smart find wardrobe staples and where to find my style inspo that is budget friendly!
What is the NSALE? Why the hype?
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is the only sale that allows you to shop new arrivals for the upcoming season at a discounted price as soon as they drop. No waiting for them to go on sale down the roas. This is the sale that you can grab NEW arrivals from popular brands like Madewell, Barefoot Dreams, Zella, Ugg, Wit & Wisdom, Good American, Steve Madden, Charlotte Tilbury, Tory Burch, and more at HUGE discounts! Some of the savings are really amazing on highly sought after brands and items ALWAYS sell out fast. (Which can be so frustrating TBH but the urgency if you want something in your size is real) Typically people like to stock up on fave products they use regularly (beauty items are usually good deals!). Get a head start on Christmas/Holiday gifts, refresh closet staples for Fall/Winter, or splurge on a wish list big ticket item like a designer bag on major SALE!
So many people go crazy for this sale, it is a good one but not for everyone because even on sale some of the price points can be higher but you are typically saving on quality which is key (think things that won’t wall apart after one use or wash). If you are planning to shop, I suggest a couple things:
1. Have a game plan, know what brands or items you are looking for will help a ton. Even knowing the category (bags, boots, jeans etc.)

When is the Sale?
The sale is tiered to allow those that spend the most with Nordstrom throughout the year to shop first. This is their way of saying thank you to their valued customers and also making sure that customers don’t flood the site and break it. To see what tier you are click here. The preview launches TODAY!! (July 6th) See what’s going to be on sale and add to your favorites. Personally, I start a couple favorites lists. One list is for items I know I want to purchase and the other for wishlist items. Creating favorites lists will help you to check out faster and prevent sell out risk if there is something you really want.

July 12: Early Access for Icon Status Nordstrom Cardholders
July 14: Early Access for Ambassador Status Nordstrom Cardholders
July 16: Early Access for Influencer Status Nordstrom Cardholders: If you have a Nordstrom Card, you can shop during this time! This is the ideal time to shop. Tons of items sell out during this time frame and not everything restocks unless there is a return somewhere in the system. If you don’t already have a Nordstrom Credit Card, you can sign up here!
