I hope you are having a great July! I am a little behind this month, I guess taking a week away will do that to you. (Ha! It was worth it!) We celebrated Lucas at the end of June ( he turned 5, I am still not sure how that happened!). Then we jumped right into my Birthday, my mom visiting from Michigan and then some much needed quality time to ring in my 35th year of life! Now I need to scramble for my hubby’s birthday ( his is July 23rd), it’s so fun having all our birthdays so close together but sheesh, trying to plan things is hard right now! Anyway, Let’s jump into the Top 10 favorites from June! ( I will break out the Top 10 Amazon faves in a seperate post )
- Comfortable Everyday Shapewear: This bodysuit has been a best seller for months and for good reason, it’s comfortable enough to wear under everything. One thing I love about it too, it is not going to make you sweat puddles, it’s been 100+ degrees here and I still can wear this and not melt to death. Another bonus is you can wear your bra under and the top of it doesn’t constrict so your girls won’t get smooshed. - THE BEST WHITE JEANS: Why are a good pair of white jeans so hard to find? These super flattering cropped jeans have great stretch and don’t show all the lovely lady lumps I have ( if white isn’t your thing, they come in lots of colors). I got them in a size 14 and they are a perfect fit. I am approx 5’6″ and I wanted them a little more cropped on me so I actually cut them off. So easy to do especially because they already have a raw hem. You can check out how I crop my jeans here. Sharing some outfit inspo below with these cropped jeans, I’ve worn them so much already this summer.
- SPORTS BRA: This super comfortable sports bra is great for so many chest sizes. I am a 36/38DD and got it in the XL it was a little big around but it is so comfortable. If you want more security for working out sizing down would be great.
- MY FAVORITE TEES: I am pretty picky about tees which may be silly but they are a wardrobe stable and I expect a lot out of them! HA! I get an XL in these comfy, lightweight tees and they are just a little oversized and perfect for styling multiple ways. I dress them up for the office with a blazer or just wear them with jean shorts! I have them in 5 colors now and probably have 2-3 white and grey tees because I wear those ALL THE TIME! (they are on sale today for 40% off CODE: GIANT) TIP: I prefer to air dry mine so they don’t loose shape, you can dry them. I have on accident and they didn’t shrink, Just my preference.
- THE BEST STRAPLESS BRA ON THE PLANET: I didn’t think that anything could replace The Amazon Strapless Bra that bra changed my outfit game, it’s still a top contender as far as strapless bras go but The RED CARPET BRA is everything my tata’s need! As a larger chested women finding a strapless bra that is comfortable has been life long struggle for me. This bra is so comfortable I wear it every dang day! You heard that right, all day everyday! I don’t feel the need to remove it once I get home and my “girls” look so happy in it! HA! I got my true size and it fits comfortably, doesn’t fold, pinch, fall down and no spilling out! Note: I think the Amazon bra is a wonderful option I just found i needed to replace it every 6 months or so because it can get a little warped with lots of wear and washing. Also I like how my chest looks more in the Red Carpet Bra.
- TINTED HYDRATOR: If you are like me and don’t like the feeling of layers of makeup you will love this lightweight tinted moisturizer. I get the color Medium Neutral and it just adjust some if I get a tan or am more fair in the winter. It is buildable if you need more coverage some days but I just put a thin layer over my face with my favorite airbrush kabuki brush ( I’ve had this thing for 3 years!) The only downside about it is there is no SPF, but I will talk more about that on #11. This tinted hydrator really is just wonderful and clearly so many agree! If you like more full coverage in a tinted moisturizer I highly recommend the It Cosmetics CC creams are so good! They are just more medium-full coverage and I don’t need that for everyday wear. I prefer THIS ONE in the summer because it is matte and I tend to get sticky in the heat (also perfect if you have oily skin). If you are more dry THIS FORMULA is perfect, I really like using that one in the winter. Oh did I mention they also have 40+ SPF built in! I really love that!
- SIDE SMOOTHING BRA: Say goodbye to armpit lumps and back boob! Baha! The struggle can be so real with some bras, the smoothing sides of this bra are so good, it really makes the perfect t-shirt bra. the girls look great and this bra is so comfortable.(TTS) You can see me wearing it below.
- BLACK & GOLD POTS AND PANS: FINALLY RESTOCKED ONLINE! YAY! This set is just straight up stunning and 12 pieces for under $100 is such a killer deal for good pots and pans. They come in 4 gorgeous color options but the Gold Speckle is by far my favorite. The knife block below is also from the same brand at Walmart and amazing quality!
- LIP & CHEEK CREAM COLOR: I tested out this cream blush last month and instantly fell in love. It’s so perfect for summer as it won’t melt or streak if you are sweating. I got the color “Perk” which is a gorgeous coral pink! The best part is you can also use this on your lips and it’s super moisturizing.
- BILLIE RAZOR & SHAVE CREAM: I have been using the Billie Razor and Shave Cream for over a year now, I purchased it with my own money way before I ever partnered with them. So let’s just say I am a hairy girl! HA! I legit tried every razor under the sun, including mens and I would get out of the shower and instantly had picky legs from goosebumps. I can now go almost two days without shaving. I don’t know what this magic formula is here but for only $9 and my razors auto ship to me each month, I am a Billie Razor lifer! Billie recently sent me the new lip balms and makeup remover wipes to try. I will be honest I wan’t expecting much from them, I mean they slay the razor–bodywash–shave cream game. I just didn’t think they could be good at it all. Welp, they are! I love the colors Rhubarb and Fig in their lip balms and I already ordered another pack of the makeup remover wipes to keep in my nightstand for those nights I just need to face plant the pillow and am too lazy to wash my makeup off.
- PROTECT & GLOW TULA SPF: (use code: TARYNTRULY to save 15% at Tula) I hinted to this above when I was talking about the Tinted Hydrator. This is my go to everyday sunscreen for my face. I ALWAYS wear sunscreen, you just never know when you will be in the sun and I would rather be prepared than have regrets! LOL! It took me turning 30 and getting skin cancer to finally start taking care of my skin, so if you are not protecting it I urge you to start. This spf is so lightweight, has a glow from within and will not leave a white cast on your face. It’s really wonderful under your makeup. It is only SPF 30 and sometimes I need a little more protection, I love the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen. It is SPF 40 and has a clear matte consistency like a primer. I use this on my son and hubby’s faves too, they hate when sunscreen melts into their eyes and this does not do that!
- COOLING & BRIGHTENING EYE BALM: I have been using this eye balm for almost a year now and am still on my first tube! Talk about a product that goes a long way! If you struggle from puffy, tired, eyes you will LOVE THIS! It is a must have skincare product for all ages. When you apply it you instantly feel a cooling sensation and the rose glow left behind is perfect for over or under makeup.
